Construction progress on a waste treatment plant can be tracked on a new website.
The Northacre Resource Recovery Centre is the home of Wiltshire’s first mechanical biological treatment plant which is due to be completed next summer.
Mike Webster, group director Hills Waste Solutions, said: “Contractors have been on site since July last year and we are now at the point where it is possible to see things taking shape. The website is an easy way for those interested to be kept up to date.”
The plant will turn 60,000 tonnes of household waste into a refuse-derived fuel that can be used to create energy.
