A Wales company has developed a range of multi-parameter indoor air quality monitoring equipment.
Manufacturer PPM Technology said that to properly understand a building’s indoor air quality it is advised to simultaneously monitor various parameters including gases, temperature and humidity in various locations throughout the building.
Its range of indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring instruments includes the Wireless IAQ Profile monitor that can contain sensors for a maximum of seven customer-specified IAQ parameters. A compact model – the Mini IAQ can contain a maximum of five.
Both instruments send the collected IAQ data wirelessly to a control pc/laptop in real-time and a number of units can be networked to enable monitoring of an entire building. The PPMonitor software enables the data to be viewed graphically, produce reports and statistical data, run schedules as well as alarm functions and notifications for more effective building management.
The latest instrument the Touch Screen IAQ Profile Monitor (pictured) is a stand-alone monitoring unit, capable of continuously monitoring up to seven IAQ parameters. An integrated touch screen panel allows the user to navigate through the various sensors simply by touching the screen.
