Pipeline monitoring and leakage-prevention company Syrinix has launched the 3G telemetry option for its TrunkMinder customers.
The new option is available in a new device – TrunkMinder Critical 3G – which is part of the development of the company’s pipeline monitoring system. The 3G solution expands the operational scope to areas without ADSL connectivity.
TrunkMinder provides sensitive and accurate pipeline monitoring and leak detection by recording and transmitting data from sensors placed on devices attached to pipelines to a central analytical database.
An ongoing trial in the Greater London area has demonstrated the validity of the 3G option and TrunkMinder clients Thames Water and Crossrail have already ordered further systems.
