One of Shropshire’s leading visitor destinations is benefitting from the installation of pumps supplied by Landia, which have greatly improved the management of the site’s effluent treatment plant balancing tank.
Dearnford, which stages numerous events, has a 50-acre wildlife haven, lake, fly fishing and cafe, needed new pumps to stabilize its wastewater disposal.
Rob Bebbington, Manager at Dearnford, said: “Our visitor numbers can vary quite widely depending our events’ schedule and the time of year, so we asked Landia to help us find the best way to manage our balance tank, which they’ve succeeded in doing with flying colours”.
He added: “At typical levels the plant was working quite well, but we had to address the times when it wasn’t being continuously fed with the right amount of liquor, which is where Landia soon straightened everything out”.
