In 2016 Gurney Environmental has embarked on a programme of ResMix installations across the UK, the first of which has seen a new ResMix 3000cc “Source Management” system installed for Southern Water at Weir Wood Reservoir in East Sussex. Southern Water now join the growing list of ResMix users numbering many of the UK’s water utility companies.
Scottish Water and Welsh Water have also ordered additional ResMix systems for installation in selected storage reservoirs for this year.
The ResMix system improves and maintains water quality in reservoirs while providing downstream savings at the water treatment works. Made by Australian firm Wears, ResMix systems include Resmix Vital for use in potable water storage tanks and reservoirs. The unit is recognised as a best practice, cutting edge solution for eliminating water stratification, temperature variation and dead zones in potable water reservoirs.
