The first in a series of webinars to help organizations develop a practical and actionable net zero strategy will be hosted by environmental consultancy Ricardo on at 11:00 – 12:00 GMT [12:00 – 13:00 CET] on 16 January 2020
Pressure is increasing globally on organizations of all types and sizes to respond to the ‘Climate Emergency’ by making commitments to achieving a ‘net zero’ future in terms of achieving an overall balance between emissions produced and emissions taken out of the atmosphere. However, understanding the complexities of developing and delivering on a practical and effective net zero strategy remains to many a significant challenge.
To help address this, Ricardo is supporting organizations across all sectors of the economy to establish their own strategies, roadmaps and technological appraisals. This includes the establishment of a framework within which companies can operate to deliver their own net zero future and demonstrate their respective contributions to achieving sustainability.
As part of this support, Ricardo has developed a free webinar series through which the company’s multi-disciplinary environmental and economic experts will help provide attendees with a better understanding of what net zero looks like for an organization, and importantly, what needs to be considered when developing and delivering a practical and effective net zero strategy.
The first in this series of webinars will be hosted at 11:00 – 12:00 GMT [12:00 – 13:00 CET] on 16 January 2020. The event will cover a range of information important to developing a net zero strategy, including; the likely impacts of long-term policy drivers and support measures, organization communication and engagement both in-house and across economic sectors, as well as the use of technology and the risks associated with a failure to create a viable net zero strategy.
