The importance of the circular economy to the pump sector comes up for attention in a series of seminars taking place in Brussels in May, organised by trade group Europump.
Investigating both the environmental and commercial benefits available to industry, through the adoption of good circular economy practices, the afternoon sessions will offer an update on the work being conducted by Europump in relation to EU Policy, as well as perspective on the wider general approach being taken by industry.
Moderated by Jim Wall, Chair of the Europump Circular Economy Working Group, the seminar will take place between 1pm and 5pm on Monday 9 May 2022, at BluePoint Brussels.
Speakers will include representatives from the European Commission, the pump sector, and other related industries, all of whom will share their knowledge and expertise on the circular economy and the positive contribution it can make to the business of pump manufacture, installation, use and maintenance.
The afternoon is free of charge to attend, including all refreshments, and for those joining the Europump Annual Meetings and Joint Conference at the NH Hotel Sablon, a courtesy bus has been arranged to take delegates to the hotel.
Attendance is strictly via the online registration process which can be accessed through the Europump website – https://europump.net/ – and for further information please email the Europump secretariat – secretariat@europump.org
The presentations are scheduled to run ahead of Europump’s annual meetings and joint conference (with CEIR and Pneurop) in Brussels this May.
