Pump Supplies, the owner and operator of the UK’s largest hire fleet of electric submersible pumps and accessories, has acquired Stockport-based PD Pumps Ltd.
PD Pumps is a key pump distribution business for Robot and Landustrie pumps in the UK and Ireland and specialises in the supply of submersible pumps and dry installed pumps. Its product range complements Pump Supplies’ existing business as a leading UK distributor of Flygt pumps and supplier of electric submersible pumps for a wide range of industry sectors and applications. Pump Supplies is part of Lakers AB Group which was acquired by Vestum AB last year.
PD Pumps will retain its name and brand identity following the sale, but the operation and its staff members will move into Pump Supplies’ existing operation in Winsford, also in Cheshire.
