Aberdeen show breaks records

THE All-Energy exhibition in Aberdeen in May broke all records in terms of exhibitors space and attendance, organisers have confirmed.
The 12th show attracted 580 exhibiting companies from 19 countries occupying 7,000m2 with an additional 700 metres of outside displays and demonstrations. The attendance of 8,322 people from 50 countries was up 8%. And there were more than 300 speakers in the conference and seminar programme.
“Showcasing the complete range of renewable and sustainable technologies and with a world-class multi-stream conference alongside, All-Energy 2012 once again provided the ideal opportunity for seeing, and hearing about, the latest cutting edge solutions,” said event director Jonathan Heastie of Reed Exhibitions.
“This key annual event in the renewables calendar provides a meeting place for the men and women behind these solutions and acts as a catalyst for those eager to source new partners and suppliers.”
New features for this year, the first show under Reed Exhibitions’ ownership, included sector-specific ‘visitor trails’ and three new sections. Heastie said he expected all three areas to increase for next year’s event.
