RainWater Harvesting Ltd has struck a deal to distribute a German rainwater tank recently seen on UK television.
The company has been awarded exclusive UK distribution rights by manufacturer Rewatec for the F-Line shallow-dig tank featured and has launched a promotional campaign focusing on England’s droughts and hosepipe bans.
The tank is strong enough to be installed without the need for concrete, carries a 25-year guarantee and has a design life of 50-75 years. Its design is said to be perfect for rainwater use and is optimised for use with the HydroForce rainwater pump, manufactured by RainWater’s sister company, and which sits in the recess in the bottom of the tank.
A spokesman said: “The F-line flat tank can be installed into much higher water tables than a standard round tank. If the winter water table is not known, it’s safer to install a flat tank. The F-Line tanks are flat and the installation depth is 60% less than other rainwater tanks. The excavation can be up to 70% less, meaning little earth excavation, easy handling and less cost.”
