EXPERTS from REC Ltd provided an air quality assessment which helped gain full planning consent for a food store and associated facilities in Barnsley.
During the planning permission process, concerns were raised over the potential impact of the development in a number of areas with poor air quality. That resulted in REC’s air quality consultants undertaking a detailed assessment of the proposed scheme and concluding that the effects would not be significant at any sensitive location.
The 116,000 sq. ft. store will also have a petrol filling station and 542 parking spaces.
