KGN Pillinger has invested in the latest laser cutting and press brake machines to fabricate all stainless steel components.
The Amada F0 MK2 Rotary Index laser cutter automatically pierces and cuts stainless steel tube, angle, box section and plate to exact size and specification while the HD Series press brake delivers 170 tonnes pressure to fold sheet metal, capable of reliably processing a large mix of materials with accuracy.
The purchase came after initial investment in new T-drill collaring and flanging machines and KGN said the move will take the company to the forefront of laser cutting innovation. “Both of these exciting machines enable us to maintain our policy of providing precision engineering and products to our customers, whilst forming new levels of productivity and efficiency,” said Jeff Norman, KGN Pillinger MD.
