Xylem has acquired Multitrode, a water and wastewater technology and services company which has monitoring and control technologies to help municipal and private water and wastewater authorities achieve significant savings on operating costs.
The portfolio includes pump station controllers and supervisors, level-sensing devices and web-based monitoring services.
Peter Lewington, managing director at Xylem Water Solutions UK, said: “Investing in innovative technology is key to our growth strategy. By expanding our ICA (instrumentation, control and automation) portfolio we will be able to offer our customers a greater range of solutions to meet challenging water issues.”
