Air sampling expert SKC is offering a comprehensive one day hands-on practical training course covering all the main areas of air sampling, looking at the various recognised methods of dust, gas and vapour sampling, and offering practical hints and tips.
The course includes:
• Introduction to air sampling methods
• Exposure limits: what they are, and how to monitor for them
• Dust, gas and vapour sampling: how, why, and and when with recognised methods
• Practical sampling exercises with equipment provided
• Interactive question time
Taking place in Belfast in early June, with other course dates scheduled for November and September in Blandford, the course is seemingly ideal for those responsible for workplace safety or overseeing staff. It is equally suitable for beginners, NEBOSH and Diploma holders requiring more practical advice and as a refresher course for current practitioners. The course is “a mixture of theory and practical sessions and offers hints and tips you won’t find in books.”
The course runs from 9.15am to 3pm approximately. All training course materials and lunch are provided. Equipment will be available but delegates are welcome to bring their own for the practical sessions.
For courses held in the SKC Training Facility at Blandford Forum the price is £405+VAT, with a discount for multiple-place bookings (£80). For the course held in Belfast the price is £450+VAT. If multiple places are booked for the same date a £50 discount applies. The firm is also providing courses on individual firms’ sites.
