The UK-based continuous emission monitoring and process analyser manufacturing company Protea. has announced two new ranges to its portfolio.
The AtmosIR and AtmosUV are the latest generation of photometric and spectrophotometer gas analyser technology. Both are extractive multi component analysers utilising Protea’s advanced multi-pass cell technology. The analysers are capable of monitoring multiple gases simultaneously, meeting the performance requirements of international standards. Both ranges also include portable models which can be used in for source (stack) testing applications.
Protea‘s product range includes the most advanced fixed and portable FTIR analysers certified to the latest MCERTS performance standard EN14181 and compliant with US EPA 40cfr Part 60 and 70, and Method 320.
The firm says the extensive range also boasts the most advanced in situ CEMS, which used in conjunction with Protea’s atmosFIR FTIR system to form a fully integrated incinerator emission monitoring system.
Challenging applications addressed by the product range include equipment for monitoring emissions from marine scrubbing systems. This is particularly demanding as the systems have to operate with minimal intervention in a hot and high vibration environment while monitoring low level SO2 (19ppm) in a saturated gas. The analysers are approved by leading marine classification societies. Protea has a well-funded and ambitious development program.
