ROSALIND Turner, a senior coastal engineer at Mott MacDonald, has won the CIWEM Young Members Award 2012 for her deep commitment to environmental improvement and sustainability, demonstrated in her development of a coastal management strategy.
Her presentation on her involvement in the design of a beach management scheme in the form of timber and rock groynes that delivered cost-effective, long-term management impressed judges during the interview session of the Jacobs Engineering sponsored award.
Rosalind was presented with a cheque for £1,000 at CIWEM’s annual dinner in London.
