A 12-week project by Welsh Water is upgrading a village wastewater system.
The company is replacing the long sea outfall which carries treated effluent far from the beach at Llangrannog village. Work will involve replacing 200 metres of buried piping across the beach and out into the sea.
The scheme is being carried out by contractors Morgan Sindall and Kaymac Marine Engineers and most of the work is being undertaken at low tides when they can access the buried outfall.
