Primetime TV demo for wood-burning stove maker will showcase how particulate emissions could be reduced

The founder of Nottingham based Firemizer, which produces what’s described as a unique fuel saving device, will appear on Dragons’ Den on 27 January.

Brian Irvine, Chief Executive of Firemizer, is entering the den in the hope of getting the Dragons interested in his accessory for wood-burning stoves, which is said to reduce particulate emissions and save money.

Irvine commented: “We developed Firemizer as a low emission alternative accessory for wood burning stoves, open fires and other open flame products to help households drastically reduce their particulate emissions caused by burning solid fuel, thus providing ‘guilt-free’ use. The product has been fantastically well received and now we are looking to the Dragons to help us take the business to the next level and provide a national solution to the issue.”

“Our end goal is to provide a Firemizer for every home with a log burner/multi-fuel stove, fireplace, BBQ and even a pizza oven installed. The economic and environmental changes the country could see with this alone is phenomenal. We aim for Firemizer to become a household essential, worldwide.”
