Now in its fifth successful year, it has become a reliable showcase for solutions around flood defence, mitigation, SuDS and water level management. And it is now co-located with the National Drainage Show.
The National Drainage Show (NDS) is industry-specific, and its concurrency with Floodex is helpful, as the latter already attracts more professionals from internal drainage boards than any other event, along with local authorities, water engineers, developers, contractors and many others.
There is a huge crossover of interest for many, especially as 70% of surface water runoff is often the cause of flooding. This colocation represents a perfect synergy, whilst fostering the exchange of ideas between visitors, consultants, equipment manufacturers, distributors, service providers, engineers and technicians in the UK.
Floodex and NDS are expected to attract a wide range of visitors, including thousands of drainage engineers and contractors, flood engineers, flood authorities, IDBs, local authority representatives, developers, construction companies, highways engineers, surveyors, architects, facility managers, civil engineers, sewerage professionals and many more.
For two days in the year, the whole industry will have a place to congregate, whilst promoting their products and services, meeting current and old customers face to face, as well as opening up valuable new business opportunities.

There will be free-to-attend and CPD-accredited technical seminars, and really interesting and important speakers and panellists. Susdrain is taking over the first day of the SuDS Theatre.
