Premier Coatings is celebrating 40 years of trading this year. Founded in 1982 and operating from Smarden in Kent, the firm specialises in the manufacture and supply of a wide range of corrosion prevention and chemical resistant coatings, linings, and waterproofing systems.
The firm supplies reliable and cost-effective products to sectors like oil and gas, utilities and construction – and in compliance with national, ISO, and commercial standards. For example, the Premseal™ range of water-proofing and gas-proofing products is CE and UKCA marked. Compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 quality and environmental management systems is also standard. In 1997 Premier Coatings was acquired by anti-corrosion and sealing specialist Winn & Coales International, where it continued to prosper and in 2017 achieved a Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade.
