Sponsored Content: Bespoke project completed

Tanks & Vessels have recently completed these 7-off, stainless 316, internal coil process vessels, which were fabricated bespoke for their customer in the chemical sector. From initial concept to final delivery their expert in house design and fabrication team have manufactured these vessels bespoke, to spec and on time to the customer’s project timeline.

The vessels will now go on to final delivery to where they will become part of a light chemical manufacturing plant in Yorkshire, utilising the internal coils as temperature stimulators. The facilities’ Engineering Manager comments: “Tanks & Vessels have supported our business over many years. All the way through from the initial project enquiry to manufacturing, testing, delivering and installing the finished product, they have made purchasing new and used stainless steel tanks a very simple and straight forward process.”

Tanks & Vessels’ purpose-built fabrication shop is 34.5m by 24.0m with an under hook height of 14.0m – enabling the team to manufacture stainless steel vessels from as small as 50 litres right up to 180,000 litres. Using manual metal arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques, which are supported by both oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting, they pride themselves on their ability to remain at the forefront of the industry in terms of quality and capability through continuous improvement in skills, machinery and fabrication techniques.

All vessels are fabricated to the highest level of quality excellence, ensured by following their ISO 9001 Quality Management System and the BS EN 9606-1 standard for coded welding, with dye penetrant testing completed on all welds. After project completion, a hydrostatic water fill test is completed on all vessels as a final assurance procedure prior to installation.

Once completed, the installation team at Tanks & Vessels are on hand to conduct a safe and time efficient installation phase for your tanks. Transportation is handled by long term key partners with experience and equipment for large, abnormal loads. All work is carried out according to UK health and safety regulations with site surveys, risk assessments and method statements.
